My shaw cable isnt working!?

I am house sitting for my cousins and I accidentally sat on the remote. The TV then said it had no signal and then when I tried to restart the TV and cable box, they both arent working. The shaw cable box says "ASPt" on the front and the tv says "pc" in the upper left corner. I have no idea what to do! Please help.
