Commercial Diving Schools?

I live in Texas and am interested in pursuing a career in commercial diving. What is the outlook of the industry and what schools would you recommend? I am looking at Ocean Corp in Houston, however, the two numbers they have to call are VMs asking to give info so they can send a packet. I know there is a difference vs Inland and off shore pay. What is a typical offshore schedule like?
