How do you get rid of thunderbugs?

Lmao so in PE we have BRIGHT Yellow Shirts and its really annoying when the thunderbugs go to us coz today there was a swarm of them and everyone else ain scared of them cept me i was like running anround with a bat lol. anyways is there anyway to get rid of them?i heard they dont like the smell of citrus Lol.
