There r no children invoved. If you have seperaed for 2 yrs and filed for divorced do u have to pay alimony.?

generally speaking, if a spouse has marketable skills,and can hold a job they should not be eligable for alimony. if a spouse gives up a career in order to fill a need in the marriage,and is not employable due to being out of the work place ,they might be eligable. but 2 years is most likely not long enough for that to apply. the courts dont favor alimony for divorcing couples unless there are special cirstances, especially if no children are involved.
