A good film SLR for a college photography course?

Go on-line or contact them and see if they offer any courses using digital technology. I've heard of cases where people have signed up for schools thinking that they would get a modern education in photography and all they learned was film from a bunch of stodgy old professors who were mired in an almost moribund technology. If it were me, I would think twice about applying to a school that insisted that I have a film camera.
